Brompton
Positioned closely to the area of Knightsbridge in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Brompton has two fantastic museums to offer- Victoria and Albert Museum and Natural History Museum.
The Victoria and Albert Museum is the biggest museum of design and decorative arts not only in England but in the whole world as well. It exposes a collection of over 4.5 million items and objects, dating back to more than 5000 years ago. It has the impressive number of 145 galleries which hold ceramics, jewellers, sculptures, glass, ironwork and many more. This museum was founded in the remote 1852 and, as you can guess, its name comes from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The other quite well known museum is the Natural History Museum. It exhibits a great variety of specimens from the natural history. Their number is quite impressive- over 80 million items.
